Some entrepreneur has finally
brought the Coffee bean chain to Miri, so the battle of the best coffee has began between San Francisco and Coffee Bean.
Still nothing beats a good old kopi O from the kopitiam, so Jacky and a few of us decided to by the fancy coffee outlet, i'm
not really excited about because i always go to the other Coffee Beans when i'm was at KL & KK, that's one of the reason
that i'm not really excited over it.
The ineterior and the ambience is nice and it's made the place a good chill
out place to be, but there is insufficient tables and chairs for people who likes sitting outside. Jacky was mad at me because
i got the wrong order for the size of the drinks, he wanted large hot chocolate but we got the regular size. Jacky really
made a big fuss out of it, so i made a tiny mistake out of it and next time i'll make sure you'll drink the hot chocolate
until you can't walk straight or even pee straight *LOL* More reviews will be up on Coffee Bean

Astro AEC superstar

Today few of the astro AEC
superstars are down in Miri for a concert or some astro thingy, i'm sure some of you out there do watch the astro AEC channel
19's soap opera called Potrait of home at 7pm. If you do watch that then you will know that what i am going to tell you now.
Two of the cast members are here in Miri, one of them playing the youngest son in the family and the other is playing the
psycho lady, i am happen to see them and was able to take a picture with them, this for you Astro AEC superstar fans out there.

J&J's Birthday

Last week was Julian
& Joel's birthday bash at Christina's place, Rining had to attend his so called business which in the end loses us our
dinner over there. But thanks to the Hot chef Joanna we still managed to get something to eat, there's a lot of drinks in
the house and most of them are already almost drunk when we reach there. I wanted to have a taste of the infamous green fairy
absinth but Chris didn't allow us *tiew*

Imperial Restaurant

A couple of weeks back i went to Imperial hotel's restaurant for lunch with Teng and Rining, i was a little
occupied to post this up. Since i'm very free now i shall post it now.
I've went to the Imperial restaurant a couple times and i do say that the food is pretty good, just that
the ala carte order for the chinese food will burn a hole in your wallet. This time i went for the western food, Rining ordered
a chicken schnitzel and i ordered a lamb shank.
The chicken schnitzel is not what i really expected, Rining said it was alright. From the looks of it i think they to
need to a little bit more research on it, because it looks too plain and not really special.
The lamb shank surpirsed me, despite the fact that i was expecting the portion would be really small and it was huge!
the lamb shank was really juicy and i was having difficulty slicing the shank because it was a bit hard. In the end i was
eating the lamb shank the old fashion way, the babarian style by tearing up the meat with my teeth. The overall rating i would
give them is 8/10: ambience, 7/10: food , 8/10: services, 6/10: price, i do recommend you guys to drop by if you happen to
be staying at Imperial Hotel.

Happy Birthday Miri

Today is the official first
year anniversary for Miri being officiated as a resort city, today the city is supposed to have a parade but it's election
today and the parade was last week. I will show you guys the pictures from the parade last week on the 13/05/06. This years
city parade theme was "wedding cutural parade" ( something like that i think)
The first thing that comes to
my mind was "WTF??" but the respond was pretty good, there was 19 couples registering for marriage on that day and they got
some free goodies from the council. Not to mention the procession of the parade was too fast, the company's camera shutter
speed wasn't fast enough to capture good shots, damn stupid right? but i managed to get some good shots for you guys to see.

Park Shuffle 2

Last Kian organized a park shuffle
at Miri park in conjunction with Eric's film, as predicted the star of the film who was fashionably late, not only he was
late he had to go back and change again, now that's a real movie star isn't it? By the time he reach the park i was already
exhausted and i have not much stamina left to shuffle but i managed to pull it off.
we have so many people around
the park watching us shuffling, even the boss of the coffee shop nearby asked for one of our number so that we can attract
